Several Unaccounted For, Scores Injured After Fire In Maryland

Five to seven people were unaccounted for after about two dozen residents and three firefighters were injured in an explosion and fire at an apartment building north of Washington D.C. The explosion shortly before midnight rocked silver spring, Maryland, and the fire burned into the morning. Authorities were investigating the cause of the explosion as they searched for residents who were missing. Silver spring, Maryland is about 6 miles north of Washington D.C.
